Today we will do some review from things you learned in C & E class. We'll spend some time discussing how we got to the American Revolution stage and watch some great clips from the movie John Adams.

1. Note Taking on Setting Up a New Government. If you miss this class, you need to read and take Notes for your notebook over Chapter 2 Sec 1, making sure you can answer all these questions:
1.Why was setting up a Cabinet an important precedent?
2.Who was in Washington’s Cabinet and what were they're roles?
3.What were the first steps taken for the formation of government?
4.What precedent did the Whiskey Rebellion set? (video)
5.What was Hamilton’s plan to get the country out of debt and why was it controversial?

1. Read John Adams Bio and fill in portions on the Presidency Chart for him.

Vietnam in 1 Day. Ugh. First, watch this video to see images of fighting in Vietnam, napalm, air calvary, etc
1. If you miss this class, you must take notes and turn in for a grade over all of Chapter 25, Sections 1 through 4. You can use this lecture as a guide.
Wednesday, May 19
1. Fill out Presidents Chart to get a broad overview of all the issues these guys dealt with. You think Obama had problems? If you miss this class, make sure you know the details of all of this.
2. Nixon and Watergate lecture. Use above lecture notes.
2. Watch excerpts from Movie Documentary "1968" with viewing guide. If you miss this class, you will need to watch this and complete the viewing guide.
Thursday, May 20
1. Meet in Computer Lab 101 for your Part 2 Goal 11 Assessment Test. Do NOT email this assignment to me if you miss class. You MUST type it, print it and turn in to me during class.
2. When finished with test, use your textbook or the Internet to begin notetaking on these Goal 12 Terms. You can use these lecture notes to simplfy your life. DO NOT print these at school! They are huge. I recommend if you print from home, you print multiple slides on one page to save paper.
